Every year, Black Friday turns into a race for discounts, fast decisions and impulse buying. It works well for many businesses, but it doesn’t reflect who we are or how our pieces are made.
This is why INDOI chooses not to participate.
Our collections are created slowly and carefully. Behind every garment there are skilled artisans, traditional techniques and production processes that cannot be rushed.
A dress, a jacket or pants is not the result of fast manufacturing , it’s the result of time, precision and collaboration with our artisan partners.
Black Friday encourages the opposite: buying quickly because a discount is available for a limited time. And very often, impulse purchases become items we don’t use, don’t wear, or eventually discard. This isn’t aligned with how we design or why we exist.
Our prices reflect the real cost of craftsmanship. They include fair wages for artisans, high-quality materials and small-batch production. What they don’t include are inflated margins created only to allow for large seasonal discounts. We prefer to offer fair prices every day of the year.
During this period, instead of joining the discount race, we highlight what truly defines INDOI: craftsmanship.
We take this moment to shine a light on the skills, techniques and people behind our pieces, because this is the real value of what we create.
So while many brands focus on percentage cuts and urgency, we continue with our usual rhythm.
Thoughtful design, responsible production and pieces made to last.
For us, Black Friday is simply another Friday, and that’s exactly how we want it to be.
